There Will Be Rest

Sara Teasdale wrote “There Will Be Rest” in 1927. When she died four years later, it  remained unpublished and passed to the care of a friend. Teasdale felt this poem and  50 others were too revealing to share, even after her death. In 1884, on the 100th  anniversary of her birth, these poems were ultimately brought to light in “Mirror Of  The Heart” ⓒ 1984 MacMillan Publishing Company.  This book was hand printed and bound by Kelsey Voy at the University of Iowa  Center for the Book in 2023. The cover and endsheets are handmade kozo paper  produced by Kelsey Voy.
